OIH in Ojodu — the numbers
Ojodu Innovation Hub exists to turn ideas from young residents of Ojodu LCDA into businesses that employ people and serve the community. This page reports what that work has actually delivered so far, what is moving through the pipeline right now, and what the programme has committed to for its first year. Those three kinds of number are kept apart on purpose — a target is never presented as a result.

Where the programme has reached
A short and honest record. Completed steps are marked complete, work still under way is marked in progress, and nothing planned is presented as done.
Platform launch

CompleteResidents of Ojodu LCDA aged 18–40 can apply for between ₦500,000 and ₦5,000,000 in seed funding.
First cohort selection
In progressApplications have been reviewed and scored. The first cohort is being confirmed — selection is not final until funding is released.
First disbursement
PlannedFunding is released against agreed milestones, not as a lump sum. It will be released once the first cohort is confirmed.

How to read these numbers
Three kinds of figure appear on this page. Here is exactly what each one means, and who maintains it.

Actual to date
What the programme has already delivered. These figures are entered and maintained by Ojodu LCDA programme staff and reviewed before they are published. Where a figure is zero, it is shown as zero — it means the programme has not reached that stage yet, not that the number is missing.
- Live
Live programme activity
Counted directly from programme records each time this page loads — submissions received, submissions scored, applicants verified, average score and the total applicants have requested. Nobody types these in, so they cannot drift from what was actually submitted.
- Projected
Year 1 targets
What the programme plans to achieve in its first year. Every target is labelled, shown in its own section and never added to an actual figure. A target is a commitment to be measured against, not a result.
Who maintains these numbers
Ojodu LCDA programme staff update the actual and target figures directly, and they are reviewed before publication. Live figures are generated from programme records on every page load. If a figure looks wrong, it can be corrected without waiting for a new release of the platform.
The programme reports capital recovered and venture survival rate next to the amount disbursed. Money released is only part of the story: what matters is whether the businesses are still trading and whether the fund is replenished so the next cohort can be supported.
Figures are published as at the date shown at the top of this page. Where a number is a target, it is labelled as one everywhere it appears — in cards, in charts and in the tables underneath each chart.
